During the week of August 23, 2015, Elvis Presley latest album, "Forever," debuted at no. 11 on the Billboard 200, making it his 53rd one to make this chart's Top 40. "Forever" is a career-spanning compilation of the late King's greatest hits that was recently released through the U.S. Postal Service in conjunction with his commemorative stamp.

This September, Kraftwerk will be launching a tour that will take the group to various parts of North America. Also that month, Steven Tyler will be headlining the upcoming Pilgrimage Festival along with his country backup band, Loving Mary. Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard will be hitting the road this October for a joint U.S. tour. Paul McCartney recently announced several more concert dates in North America that also begin in October. This November, Kenny Rogers will be launching his 34th Annual Christmas tour in support of his upcoming holiday album, "Once Again It's Christmas."

The bulk of Van Morrison's extensive albums catalog, which spans over four decades, was just released digitally and is also now available as streaming downloads. Two early Van Morrison albums, "Astral Weeks" (1968) and "His Band And The Street Choir" (1970) will be coming out on CD and as digital downloads this October. A new compilation album titled "NOW That's What I Call Halloween!" is due out this September that includes a number of seasonal oldies favorites. This October, The Velvet Underground's 1970 album, "Loaded," will be re-released as a deluxe box set. A greatest hits compilation titled "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy: The Very Best Of Bad Company" will also be coming out that month.

Don Henley and James Taylor are among those who will be appearing on the upcoming season of the PBS show, "Austin City Limits" (Henley in October, and Taylor in November). Also, Chaka Khan will be competing on "Dancing With The Stars" sometime this fall.

Also that week, it was announced that Sam & Dave, Charlie Rich, and Elvis Presley guitarist Scotty Moore are among those who will be inducted into the 2015 Memphis Music Hall of Fame this October.

Finally, August 25, 2015 marked the 40th anniversary of the release of Bruce Springsteen's classic album, "Born To Run," which launched the legendary singer to stardom.

Paul McCartney has just added several more concerts to his fall North American tour. The first of these new shows is set to take place on October 13, 2015 in Columbus, OH, with other shows currently scheduled for Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, and Ontario, Canada.

August 25, 2015: Velvet Underground To Reissue 'Loaded' Album As Box Set

On October 30, 2015, The Velvet Underground's 1970 album, "Loaded," will be re-released as a deluxe box set with both mono and stereo versions of the album, plus previously unreleased live recordings and other material. "Loaded" was the last album recorded by The Velvet Underground with Lou Reed, who had left the band shortly before its release.

August 26, 2015: Kraftwerk To Launch North American Tour

On September 16, 2015, Kraftwerk will be launching a tour that will take the pioneering electronic music group to various parts of North America. Formed in 1968, Kraftwerk had a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1975 with "Autobahn." In an interview with Rolling Stone, the group's co-founder, Ralf Hutter, discusses Kraftwerk's upcoming tour and future projects.

August 26, 2015: Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard To Launch Joint Tour

Country legends Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard will be hitting the road this fall for a joint tour that will take them to various states in the U.S. This trek is set to begin on October 15, 2015 in Florence, SC and end on November 28 in Fort Worth, TX, with stops in Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

August 26, 2015: Van Morrison's Catalog To Be Reissued Digitally

On August 28, 2015, the bulk of Van Morrison's extensive albums catalog will be released digitally and will also become available as streaming downloads as part of a deal with Sony. Those albums currently slated for digital release total 33 and span over four decades, starting with "Saint Dominic's Preview" (1972) and ending with "Astral Weeks - Live At The Hollywood Bowl" (2009). Also, a new compilation album titled "Essential Van Morrison" will be coming out soon, and four Them albums are set to be re-released sometime later this year.

Kenny Rogers will soon be launching his 34th Annual Christmas tour in support of his upcoming holiday album, "Once Again It's Christmas."
