During the week of December 20, 2015, fans bade a final farewell to R&B-soul singer William Guest, a founding member of Gladys Knight & The Pips.

Also that week, The Beatles' catalog was finally made available for online streaming. This long-awaited event took place on Christmas Eve all over the world (see video below).

Also, Bruce Springsteen is now offering free digital downloads on his website of previously unreleased live performances from a 1980 concert at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

The Beach Boys announced their upcoming tour beginning this January that will take the band to various states across the U.S. Also, Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will be touring Canada this March.

December 22, 2015: Heart And Joan Jett To Launch Joint Canadian Tour

Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will soon be launching a joint tour that will take the two bands to various parts of Canada. This 10-date trek begins on March 7, 2016 in Abbotsford, British Columbia and ends on March 21 in Montreal, Quebec, with additional stops in British Columbia, as well as in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. December 23, 2015: Beatles' Catalog Now Available For Streaming

Starting at 12:01 AM on December 24, 2105, much of The Beatles' catalog will finally become available for streaming online all over the world. December 25, 2015: Bruce Springsteen Offers Free Downloads Of Live Tracks From 1980 Concert

Bruce Springsteen is now offering free digital downloads of ten previously unreleased live performances from a November 5, 1980 concert he gave at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ which is the same show featured in the live video included with Springsteen's recently-released "The Ties That Bind: The River Collection" box set. These songs, which will be available as free downloads for a limited time only at, can also be purchased on CD and other formats.

December 26, 2015: Beach Boys Map Out 2016 Itinerary

The Beach Boys have mapped out their itinerary for 2016 through mid May. After a show that will take place on December 28, 2015 in Avon, CO, the band will embark on a 32-date U.S. trek that begins on January 21, 2016 in Redwood City, CA and ends on May 15 in Des Moines, IA, with additional stops in California, as well as in Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

December 26, 2015: William Guest Of Gladys Knight & The Pips Passes Away

Famed R&B/soul singer William Guest died on December 24, 2015 at age 74 of congestive heart failure at his home in Detroit, MI. He was a founding member of Gladys Knight & the Pips and had been with the group from its beginnings in 1953 through its disbandment in 1989. He can be heard as a background vocalist on such hits as "Midnight Train To Georgia" and "I Heard It Through The Grapevine." After his long tenure with the Grammy-winning group, he and another group member, Edward Patten, formed Patten and Guest Productions. Following Patten's passing in 2005, he continued managing artists as CEO of Crew Records.

Born in Atlanta, GA, Guest was a longtime Detroit resident and a cousin of Gladys Knight. He was inducted along with Gladys Knight & The Pips into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. In 2013, he published an autobiography, "Midnight Train From Georgia: A Pips Journey."
