During the week of May 31, 2015, it was announced that a new commemorative Elvis Presley Forever Stamp will be coming out this August.
This July, Led Zeppelin will be reissuing "'Presence," "In Through The Out Door," and "Coda," the band's final three studio albums. Also, an 80-CD Grateful Dead box set of previously unreleased shows titled "Thirty Trips Around The Sun" will be coming out this September.
The Family Stone, Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, and Joey Molland of Badfinger are among the lineup for this year's Hippiefest Tour which begins this July. This August, ZZ Top will be launching a tour that will take the band to various parts of the U.S. and Canada. Also, Olivia Newton-John will be extending her residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino through early January, 2016.
This October, Steely Dan will be giving a series of concerts at New York City's famous Beacon Theatre. Also that month, Hall & Oates will be giving their first-ever concert at the Fillmore Philadelphia. Later that month at this same venue, The Trammps of "Disco Inferno" fame will be among those to be inducted into the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame. Also, Carlos Santana and John Fogerty will be headlining the 2015 Monster Mash Music Festival which is set to take place the days before and after this coming Halloween.
Also that week, it was announced that SiriusXM will be broadcasting the Grateful Dead's final concerts at Chicago's Soldier Field on July 3-5, 2015. Also, a new documentary titled "Johnny Cash: American Rebel" is set to air September 12, 2015 on CMT.

May 31, 2015: Steely Dan To Perform Series Of Concerts At NYC's Beacon Theatre
This October, Steely Dan will be giving a series of eight concerts at New York City's famous Beacon Theatre. On different nights, the band will alternate between mostly greatest hits and full album performances of "Aja," "Gaucho" and "The Royal Scam." One night will be a "By Popular Demand" concert, and the final show, dubbed "The Most Unforgettable Night Of Whatever, will feature various guest artists to be announced. June 1, 2015: Trammps To Be Inducted Into Philadelphia Music Walk Of Fame
The Trammps, an R&B group famous for their 1978 hit, "Disco Inferno," are among those to be inducted into this year's Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame. Other honorees will include the late jazz great, Billie Holiday. The ceremonies will take place on October 26, 2015 at the Fillmore Philadelphia.
June 2, 2015: Hall & Oates To Perform At Fillmore Philadelphia

June 2, 2015: Family Stone, Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder, And Badfinger's Joey Molland Among Featured Artists In Upcoming Hippiefest Tour
The Family Stone, Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, and Joey Molland, the sole surviving original member of Badfinger, are among the lineup for this year's Hippiefest Tour. This trek is set to begin on July 9, 2015 in Tucson, AZ, and end on October 4 in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, with stops in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington. The current lineup for The Family Stone includes three original founding members, Jerry Martini (saxophone), Cynthia Robinson (trumpet), and Greg Errico (drums). Other featured acts for some of the shows will include Peter Rivera of Rare Earth, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals, and the current incarnation of The Lovin' Spoonful.
June 2, 2015: Massive Grateful Dead Box Set To Be Released
An 80-CD Grateful Dead box set titled "Thirty Trips Around The Sun" will be coming out on September 18, 2015 as part of the band's final farewell. This massive, limited-edition collection consists mainly of 30 previously unreleased shows, one from each year the band toured, many of which are long-time favorites of Deadheads and other avid fans. This box set also comes with a 45rpm single that includes a song from the band's first studio recording session in 1965 backed with one from their final show in 1995 at Chicago's Soldier Field.
June 3, 2015: Led Zeppelin Announces Final Albums Reissues
On July 31, 2015, Led Zeppelin will be reissuing deluxe editions of their last three studio albums, "'Presence" (1976), "In Through The Out Door" (1979), and "Coda" (1982). Each album has been remastered by Jimmy Page and will include many bonus tracks and other material.
June 3, 2015: Santana, John Fogerty To Headline Monster Mash Music Festival

ZZ Top will soon be launching a tour that will take the band to various parts of the U.S. and Canada. This trek is set to begin on August 12, 2015 in Bethlehem, PA and end on October 4 in Louisville, KY, with additional stops in Pennsylvania, as well as in California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, North and South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Wyoming, plus Ontario and Quebec, Canada.
June 3, 2015: Olivia Newton-John To Extend Las Vegas Residency
Olivia Newton-John will be extending her residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino through January 2, 2016 with 30 more show dates. Her program, dubbed "Summer Nights," which features songs from the 1978 movie, "Grease," also includes such long-time favorites as "Have You Never Been Mellow," "I Honestly Love You," "Magic," "Please Mr. Please," and "Physical." June 3, 2015: New Elvis Presley Stamp To Be Issued
Elvis Presley is the next in line to be commemorated on a Forever Stamp as part of the Postal Service's "Music Icon Series" which, over the past two years, issued stamps honoring Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash and Ray Charles. This new stamp will be coming out on August 12, 2015 when Graceland will host a First-Day-of-Issue dedication ceremony as part of its "Elvis Week" celebration. Presley was first featured on a U.S. stamp issued in 1993 which was based on a watercolor portrait by Mark Stutzman.
June 4, 2015: SiriusXM To Broadcast Final Grateful Dead Concerts
SiriusXM will be broadcasting the Grateful Dead's final concerts at Chicago's Soldier Field on July 3-5, 2015 on Channel 23, the satellite radio company's exclusive Grateful Dead station. Each concert will also be re-broadcast the day after and again over Labor Day weekend. Subscribers also get a chance to win tickets to all three concerts plus airfare and hotel.
June 5, 2015: New Johnny Cash Documentary To Air On CMT
A new documentary titled "Johnny Cash: American Rebel" is set to air on CMT on September 12, 2015, the 12th anniversary of the country legend's passing. Highlights will include archival footage, interviews of various family members and friends, and music by the Man In Black.
