During the week of November 1, 2015, Elvis Presley topped the UK album charts with "If I Can Dream," a collection of new orchestral arrangements of classic songs by the late King of Rock. Rod Stewart came in at no. 2 with "Another Country."

Also that week, fans bade a final farewell to longtime Santana member, Raul Rekow.

Little Anthony and George Benson recently recorded a new single titled "Electric Together" which will be coming out on iTunes later this month. Also, The Who's "Live In Hyde Park" concert film will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray. This December, Tom Jones' latest album, "Long Lost Suitcase," is set for release in the U.S., and a new compilation titled "The Complete Them 1964-1967" that consists of the recordings of the late 1960s garage band formed by Van Morrison is also due out. Over the next few months, two live Johnny Cash albums will be coming out in various formats on Columbia Records: "Man In Black: Live In Denmark" and "Koncert V Praze (In Prague - Live)." Both albums will be released on CD and as digital downloads, and they will also be among the featured vinyl offerings at this year's Black Friday Record Store Day.

The Rolling Stones will be launching a tour of Latin America starting February, 2016. Also that month, Hall & Oates will be giving a show at New York's Madison Square Garden. The Moody Blues announced a U.S. tour that will begin in March, 2016.

Also that week, it was announced that on November 27, 2015, a new documentary titled "The Ties That Bind" about the making of Bruce Springsteen's 1980 album, "The River," will be making its premiere November 27, 2015 on HBO. A remastered version of the 1997 documentary, "Close to You: Remembering The Carpenters," will be making its premiere on public television starting December 5, 2015. Also, James Taylor, Merle Haggard, and Chicago will be featured on upcoming episodes of the Audience Network series, "Guitar Center Sessions." Taylor and Haggard will appear on the November 13, 2015 and December 18 shows, respectively, and Chicago will appear on the January 8, 2016 episode.

Finally, the awards ceremonies for this year's Kennedy Center Honors will be televised December 29, 2015 on CBS, and among the honorees are Carole King and The Eagles. The Eagles' tribute will be postponed to 2016 as Glenn Frey will soon be undergoing surgery. A new date will be announced on which all four band members will be able to attend.

November 2, 2015: Longtime Santana Member Raul Rekow Passes Away

Acclaimed drummer and longtime Santana member Raul Rekow died on November 2, 2015 at age 61 after battling cancer. Born in San Francisco, he had been a member of Malo (of "Suavecito" fame) and Sapo before joining Santana in 1976. His energetic rhythms, which were an integral part of Santana's signature sound, can be heard on "Supernatural" (1999), "Corazon" (2014), and most of the band's other recordings.

November 2, 2015: Two Johnny Cash Live Albums To Be Released

Two live Johnny Cash albums will soon be coming out in various formats on Columbia Records: "Man In Black: Live In Denmark" (December 4, 2015) and "Koncert V Praze (In Prague - Live)" (February 5, 2016). Highlights of "Man In Black: Live In Denmark," which aired on Danish TV in 1971, include such classics as "A Boy Named Sue," "Folsom Prison Blues," and "I Walk The Line." Originally recorded in 1978 and first released in 1983 in Europe, highlights of "Koncert V Praze (In Prague - Live)" include many railroad-related songs and a 10-minute medley. Both albums will be released on CD and as digital downloads, and they will also be among the featured vinyl offerings at this year's Black Friday Record Store Day.

November 2, 2015: New Tom Jones Album To Be Released

Tom Jones' latest album, "Long Lost Suitcase," is set for release in the U.S. on December 4, 2015. This album is a companion to his recently published memoir, "Over The Top And Back." Highlights include cover of songs by The Rolling Stones, Hank Williams, and Willie Nelson, plus some original songs. Previews of three of this album's songs can be heard at Tom Jones' official YouTube channel.

November 3, 2015: What Is Little Anthony Up To These Days?

Oldies R&B icon Little Anthony and Grammy-winning jazz guitarist George Benson recently recorded a new single titled "Electric Together" which will be coming out on iTunes on November 13, 2015. Two days before this song is released, Little Anthony will be taking part in the New York City Veterans Day Parade. He is also set to perform that same evening at the NYC Stands for the Troops benefit show along with Judy Collins, The Manhattan Transfer, and others.

November 3, 2015: James Taylor, Merle Haggard, Chicago To Be Featured On 'Guitar Center Sessions'

James Taylor, Merle Haggard, and Chicago are among the bands and artists to be featured on upcoming 11th season episodes of the Audience Network series, "Guitar Center Sessions." Taylor and Haggard will appear on the November 13, 2015 and December 18 shows, respectively, and Chicago will appear on the January 8, 2016 episode. November 4, 2015: Remastered Carpenters Documentary To Air On Public Television

A remastered version of the 1997 documentary, "Close to You: Remembering The Carpenters," will be making its premiere on public television starting December 5, 2015. This film, which covers the lives and careers of Karen and Richard Carpenter, features archival footage, rare performances, and interviews with friends, fellow artists, collaborators, and Richard Carpenter.

November 5, 2015: Eagles' Kennedy Center Honors Tribute Postponed Until 2016

The Eagles were announced as one of this year's Kennedy Center Honors recipients, along with Carole King, George Lucas, and several others. The awards ceremonies are set to take place on December 6, 2015 in Washington, D.C. and will be televised December 29 on CBS, but The Eagles' tribute will be postponed to 2016 as one of the band's co-founders, Glenn Frey, will soon be undergoing surgery. November 5, 2015: Rolling Stones To Tour Latin America In 2016

The Rolling Stones will be launching a tour of Latin America starting February 3, 2016 in Santiago, Chile. This 12-date trek, which ends on March 14, 2016 in Mexico City, Mexico, will also cover Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay.

November 5, 2015: Who Concert Film To Be Released On DVD And Blu-ray

The Who's "Live In Hyde Park" concert film will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray on November 20, 2015. This movie, which made its theater premiere on October 7, 2015, captures the band's June 26, 2015 concert at London's most famous outdoor venue. Highlights include classic hits plus an extra song not included in this movie's theatrical release: "The Seeker."

November 6, 2015: Moody Blues Announce 2016 Tour

The Moody Blues announced a U.S. tour for next spring, with 23 show dates confirmed so far. This upcoming trek is set to begin on March 3, 2016 in Hollywood, FL and end on April 2 in Biloxi, MS, with additional stops in Florida and Mississippi, as well as in Georgia, Kentucky, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. This tour commemorates the 50th anniversary of one of the bands earliest songs, "Fly Me High."

November 6, 2015: New Them Compilation To Be Released

A new compilation titled "The Complete Them 1964-1967" that consists of the recordings of the late 1960s garage band formed by Van Morrison is due out on December 4, 2015. Highlights of this 3-CD collection include all the band's classic hits plus alternate versions of "Gloria" and "Here Comes The Night" as recorded live on the BBC.

November 6, 2015: Bruce Springsteen Documentary To Be Shown On HBO

On November 27, 2015, a new documentary about the making of Bruce Springsteen's highly acclaimed 1980 album, "The River," will be making its premiere on HBO. Titled "The Ties That Bind," this movie features rare photos, archival concert footage, and an in-depth interview with Springsteen in which he plays some of the album's songs on acoustic guitar.

November 6, 2015: Elvis Presley Tops UK Album Chart

For the week of November 6-12, 2015, Elvis Presley topped the UK album charts for a record-breaking 12th time with the recently-released "If I Can Dream," a collection of new orchestral arrangements of classic songs by the late King of Rock performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Rod Stewart came in at #2 with "Another Country," his 34th album to date to make this chart's Top 10.
