During the week of August 21, 2016, AXS TV announced its upcoming fall episodes for "The Big Interview." Among this show's featured guests are Neil Young, Meat Loaf, and Olivia Newton-John.

Also that week, it was announced that "Dolly Parton's Christmas Of Many Colors: Circle Of Love" will premiere November 30, 2016 on NBC.

Elton John will be performing in this year's upcoming Apple Music Festival to take place this September in London. This year's Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, CA will take place in October with Roger Waters to be among the featured performers. David Crosby announced a tour in support of his upcoming album, "Lighthouse," which begins in November. Styx will join ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder next January for a five-day Las Vegas residency. The Moody Blues announced the initial lineup for their upcoming fan cruise which sets sail January 2018. Among the featured performers are Ambrosia, Richie Furay, The Ides of March, Jefferson Starship, Little River Band, Dave Mason, and the Alan Parsons Live Project.

"Complete And Unbelievable...The Otis Redding Dictionary Of Soul" will be re-released this October on CD and vinyl in commemoration of this album's 50th anniversary.

Also that week, it was announced that Daryl Hall and John Oates will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in September.

Finally, a North Carolina couple recently purchased what they think may be an autographed Michael Jackson "Bad" cassette tape for only 25 cents at a local thrift shop.

August 21, 2016: Otis Redding Final Solo Album To Be Re-Released

"Complete And Unbelievable...The Otis Redding Dictionary Of Soul" will be re-released October 7, 2016 on CD and vinyl in commemoration of this classic album's 50th anniversary. Highlights include "Try A Little Tenderness," "Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa (Sad Song)," and Redding's cover of The Beatles' "Day Tripper." "Dictionary Of Soul" was Redding's final solo album before his death in 1967 in a plane crash.

August 22, 2016: Couple Buys Autographed Michael Jackson Tape For 25 Cents

A North Carolina couple recently purchased what they think may be an autographed Michael Jackson "Bad" cassette tape for 25 cents at a local thrift shop. A signature appears on the inside cover which looks identical to that of the King of Pop, although it has not been authenticated. At this time, the couple has no plans to sell the cassette.

August 22, 2016: Lineup Announced For Neil Young's 2016 Bridge School Benefit

The lineup has been announced for this year's Bridge School Benefit, an annual charity concert co-hosted by Neil Young since 1986. Among the featured headlining performers are ex-Pink Floyd member Roger Waters, along with Young and his backing band. Other featured artists include E Street Band guitarist Nils Lofgren and Willie Nelson. The two-day event will take place October 22-23 in Mountain View, CA at the Shoreline Amphitheater.

August 23, 2016: Styx And Don Felder Announce January 2017 Las Vegas Residency

August 23, 2016: Hall And Oates To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Daryl Hall and John Oates will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making this the 2,587th star to date. The awards ceremonies will take place September 2, 2016 at 6752 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Musicians Institute where the star will be located. This event will be streamed live from WalkOfFame.com.

August 23, 2016: Airdate For New Dolly Parton Christmas Movie Announced

"Dolly Partonís Christmas Of Many Colors: Circle Of Love," the country legend's latest holiday movie, will premiere November 30, 2016 on NBC. It is the sequel to her hugely popular "Coat Of Many Colors," a made-for-TV movie about her early years which debuted in December 2015.

August 23, 2016: Neil Young And More To Appear On AXS TV's 'The Big Interview'

Neil Young will be interviewed on September 13, 2016 by Dan Rather in the first of nine new episodes of "The Big Interview" which airs on AXS TV. Other artists to be featured in the new episodes include Meat Loaf (September 20) and Olivia Newton-John (October 4). AXS TV will also host a marathon on September 10 of past interviews, including those of Gregg Allman, Crosby, Stills & Nash, John Fogerty, Sammy Hagar, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Gene Simmons, Frankie Valli, and Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.

August 24, 2016: Moody Blues Announce 2018 Fan Cruise Initial Lineup

The Moody Blues announced the initial lineup for their upcoming 2018 fan cruise. August 26, 2016: David Crosby Announces Tour

David Crosby announced a fall tour in support of his upcoming album, "Lighthouse," which is due out on October 21, 2016. This 18-date trek kicks off on November 18 in Atlanta, GA and ends on December 16 in Ithaca, NY, with additional stops in New York, as well as in Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
