During the week of February 7, 2016, Barry Manilow had to undergo emergency oral surgery after playing a sold-out show in Memphis, and his recovery is reportedly going well.

Also that week, it was announced that the documentary, "Queen: A Night In Bohemia," will be debuting in theaters on March 8, 2016 for one night only.

Ann Wilson's solo project, The Ann Wilson Thing, announced an upcoming U.S. tour that will take place this March. Hall & Oates will be launching a tour this May that will take the duo to various states in the U.S. This July, Three Dog Night will give a special concert accompanied by the Pacific Symphony to kick off the annual OC Fair's Toyota Summer Concert Series. Also that month, Alice Cooper's Hollywood Vampires are set to headline this year's Rock Fest in Cadott, WI. This August, Jeff Beck will commemorate his 50-year music career in concert along with Buddy Guy at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

David Crosby contributed a new song titled "Somebody Home" to the newly-released "Family Dinner Vol. 2," the latest album by Snarky Puppy. The soundtrack to the new Janis Joplin documentary, "Janis: Little Girl Blue," was just released as a digital album and is due out in March on CD. Also that month, Fleetwood Mac is set to release a 3-LP vinyl collection titled "Fleetwood Mac: In Concert" of live recordings from the band's 1979-1980 "Tusk" world tour.

A new fine art book titled "The Band Photographs, 1968-1969" has just been published by Backbeat Books. Also, Bruce Springsteen's autobiography, "Born To Run," is due out this September.

Also that week, it was announced that Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top will be featured in the upcoming pilot for the new Discovery Channel TV series, "Rockin' Roadsters," which airs February 29, 2016. Also, "Janis: Little Girl Blue" will make its TV debut May 3 on PBS as part of that station's "American Masters" series.

Finally, for those who cannot make it to this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, which will take place April 8, 2016 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the Rock Hall will host a simulcast at its home base in Cleveland, OH.

February 8, 2016: New Fine Art Book Featuring Photos Of The Band Published

A new fine art book featuring photos by famed photographer Elliott Landy of The Band from the late1960s has just been published by Backbeat Books. Titled "The Band Photographs, 1968-1969," this collection includes over 200 mostly-unpublished photos that include many shots taken around the house in West Saugerties, NY known as "Big Pink" that was shared by Robbie Robertson and other band members. February 8, 2016: Hollywood Vampires To Headline Wisconsin's Rock Fest

Alice Cooper's Hollywood Vampires will be headlining this year's Rock Fest in Cadott, WI which takes place July 14-16, 2016. For more info and tickets, visit Rock-Fest.com. February 9, 2016: Billy Gibbons To Appear In Pilot For 'Rockin' Roadsters'

February 9, 2016: Three Dog Night To Give Symphonic Concert

Three Dog Night will give a special concert accompanied by the Pacific Symphony to kick off the annual OC Fair's Toyota Summer Concert Series. This event will take place July 14, 2016 at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA. February 12, 2016: New Queen Documentary To Be Screened in U.S. Theaters

A new documentary titled "Queen: A Night In Bohemia" will be making its debut at hundreds of theaters across the nation on March 8, 2016 for one night only. This film, which marks the 40th anniversary of the release of "Bohemian Rhapsody," covers Queen's rise to fame and features rare archival footage, interviews, and highlights from the band's historic 1975 Christmas Eve concert in London at the Hammersmith Odeon.

February 12, 2016: Fleetwood Mac To Release Vinyl Set Of Live Recordings From 'Tusk' Tour

On March 4, 2016, Fleetwood Mac will release a 3-LP vinyl collection titled "Fleetwood Mac: In Concert" of live recordings from the band's 1979-1980 "Tusk" world tour. This collection of 21 songs includes tracks from the "Tusk" album plus earlier hits such as "Don't Stop," "Rhiannon," and "Go Your Own Way."

February 12, 2016: Janis Joplin Documentary Soundtrack Released

The soundtrack to the recently-released Janis Joplin documentary, "Janis: Little Girl Blue," was just released as a digital album and is due out on CD March 4, 2016. Highlights of this 17-track collection include original studio versions of Joplin's songs both solo and as a member of Big Brother & The Holding Company, plus various live performances that include a previously-unreleased rendition of "Piece Of My Heart" recorded in April 1968 at a tribute concert for Martin Luther King Jr. "Janis: Little Girl Blue," which made its world premiere last September at the Venice International Film Festival, will debut on TV May 3 as an extended cut on PBS as part of that station's "American Masters" series.

February 12, 2016: Barry Manilow On The Mend After Emergency Oral Surgery

After playing a sold-out show in Memphis, TN, on February 10, 2016, Barry Manilow was forced to return to Los Angeles to undergo emergency oral surgery due to complications from a recent previous surgery. The legendary singer has recovered from the emergency procedure and is reportedly "doing well." His next show is set to take place February 17 in Houston, TX, with more concerts lined up through March 26 in Rockford, IL.
