The Ballads were an R&B vocal quartet from Oakland, CA consisting of Nathaniel "Nate" Romerson (October 26, 1937 - April 22, 2013), Jon Foster, Rico Thompson, and Leslie LaPalmer that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for "God Bless Our Love" (1968), a Top 10 hit on the R&B charts.
