Elephant's Memory

ABOUT

Elephant's Memory was a multi-member rock band from New York City that became famous during the early 1970s. From late 1971-1973, they served as the backing band for John Lennon and Yoko Ono. With lead vocals by Michal Shapiro, other members included Stan Bronstein, Richard Sussman, and John Ward. As recording artists, they are best known for the hypnotic and hard-driving "Mongoose" (1970).
