Rusty Draper (January 25, 1923 - March 28, 2003, b. Farrell Haliday Draper) was a veteran country/pop singer, songwriter, and radio and TV host who became famous during the 1950s and one of the biggest pop and country crossover stars of that era. His best known songs include the lively and catchy "Gambler's Guitar" (1953), the evocative "The Shifting, Whispering Sands" (1955), and the country ballad, "Are You Satisfied?" (1955).
