The Shepherd Sisters were a vocal quartet from Middletown, OH consisting of Martha (d. 1992), Gayle (May 31, 1936 - May 7, 2018), Judith (d. 2009), and MaryLou Shepherd. They had a Top 20 hit in 1957 with "Alone (Why Must I Be Alone)."
