R&B-disco singer (a.k.a. Eddie Kendrick). Lead singer of the Temptations from 1960-1971. Best known songs include "Keep On Truckin' (Part 1)" (1973), "Boogie Down" (1974), "Son Of Sagittarius" (1974), and "A Nite At The Apollo Live!/The Way You Do The Things You Do/My Girl" (1985, with Daryl Hall, John Oates, and David Ruffin).
