During the week of September 28, 2014, it was announced that Bruce Springsteen will be co-headlining "The Concert of Valor" which honors members of the U.S. Armed Forces. This event, which will take place on November 11, 2014 in Washington D.C, is set to air live on HBO at 7:00 PM EST.
Also that week, a Rod Stewart impersonator was spotted in various locations in New York City. The spiky-haired dead ringer was reportedly able to fool many people into thinking that he was the actual rock legend.
Brian Wilson and Tom Jones are among the featured performers in this year's Bridge School Benefit Concert, an annual fundraising event organized by Neil and Pegi Young which takes place every October in Mountain View, CA. John Fogerty will be launching a tour this November that will take place mainly in Canada. Also that month, Kenny Rogers is set to launch his 33rd Christmas tour which will cover 22 cities in North America. ZZ Top announced a series of new 2015 show dates to make up for some shows that got cancelled this year. Next February, Neil Diamond will be launching a tour that will cover various cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Also next year, Black Sabbath will start making preparations for what the legendary heavy metal band says will be its final album and tour.
Later this month, Earth, Wind & Fire will be releasing "Holiday," the band's first Christmas album. Highlights include two new original holiday songs.
Also that week, it was announced that a museum will soon be opening in Nashville in honor of the late and great country legend, George Jones.
Finally, Stevie Wonder will be serving as the Grand Marshal of this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade. This event, which takes place in late November, is expected to be aired both locally and nationally at some later date.

Nicknamed "Rockaway Rod," this imposter has reportedly been able to fool many people into thinking that he is the spiky-haired, twice-inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.

September 29, 2014: Black Sabbath Final Tour And Album In The Works
Black Sabbath announced that a final album and tour for 2015 are in the works. The legendary heavy metal band's current lineup includes co-founders Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler. The itinerary for this upcoming tour has not yet been finalized. The band plans to begin work on the new album starting in early 2015.

September 29, 2014: George Jones Museum To Open In Nashville
In tribute to the late and great country legend George Jones, who passed away on April 26, 2013, the city of Nashville will be opening a new museum in his honor. This museum, which is currently under construction, will house assorted memorabilia from the beloved Country Music Hall of Famer.

September 30, 2014: Kenny Rogers To Launch Christmas Tour
Kenny Rogers will be launching his 33rd Christmas tour which kicks off on November 12, 2014 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. This trek, which will cover 22 cities in the U.S. and Canada, ends on December 23 in Westbury, New York. The country legend will perform both classic hits and holiday chestnuts, and he will be accompanied by a different set of guest performers and backup singers at each show.

September 30, 2014: ZZ Top Announces Rescheduled Tour Dates
ZZ Top announced a series of new 2015 show dates to make up for some shows that got cancelled this year due to Dusty Hill's hip injury. ZZ Top was originally slated to start a tour last week, which is now scheduled to begin on January 17, 2014, in San Antonio, TX. The band had also launched a joint tour with Jeff Beck earlier this year, and the newly-rescheduled shows for this trek begin on May 1 in Thackerville, OK.

September 30, 2014: Neil Diamond Announces 2015 Tour
Neil Diamond will be launching a North American tour next year which kicks off on February 27, 2015 in Allentown, PA. This 30-date tour, which will cover various cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, ends on May 31 in Denver, CO. Diamond's 2015 itinerary includes a show in Brooklyn, NY, where the legendary singer was born and raised.

September 30, 2014: Brian Wilson To Perform In Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert
It was announced that Brian Wilson will be joining the lineup at this year's Bridge School Benefit Concert, an annual fundraising event organized by Neil and Pegi Young. This year's concerts will take place on October 25-26 at the same location where this benefit has been held every year since 1986: the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. October 1, 2014: John Fogerty Announces November Tour
On November 7, 2014, John Fogerty will be launching a tour in tribute to three famous albums released by Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969.
