Balance was a short-lived hard rock band from New York City led by Peppy Castro (formerly of Blues Magoos) that became famous during the early 1980s. The band is best known for "Breaking Away" (1981), a Top 40 hit. Other members included Bob Kulick (guitar) and Doug Katsaros (keyboards), with some personnel changes.
