The Banana Splits were a ca. late 1960s pop musical act consisting of four costumed animal characters (Bingo, Drooper, Fleegle, and Snorky) based on the Saturday morning children's TV series, "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour." They made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts in 1969 with the show's upbeat theme, "The Tra La La Song (One Banana, Two Banana)."
