Shorty Rogers (April 14, 1924 - November 7, 1994, b. Milton Rajonsky) was a highly acclaimed and veteran jazz trumpeter, composer, and arranger who made a splash on the Pop/Rock charts as Boots Brown & His Blockbusters during the late 1950s. He is best known for the instrumental smash, "Cerveza" (1958), a Top 40 hit.
