ABOUT

The Cadillacs were a highly acclaimed early rock & roll/doo-wop group from Harlem, NY led by Earl "Speedoo" Carroll that became famous during the 1950s. They are best known for the upbeat Top 20 smash, "Speedoo" (1955), named after the group's lead singer. Carroll joined The Coasters in 1961, and group member Bobby Spencer later went on to become the lead singer for Crazy Elephant. The Cadillacs were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004.
