The Cantina Band

ABOUT

The Cantina Band was a pop studio group with lead vocals by Lou Christie that became famous during the early 1980s. They are best known for "Summer '81 Medley" (1981) which features various classic songs by The Beach Boys. The Cantina Band was produced by Meco Monardo who had previously recorded the similarly-named smash disco instrumental, "Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band" (1977).
