ABOUT
Dick Feller (b. 1943) is a veteran country singer and songwriter who became famous during the mid 1970s. He is best known for "Makin' The Best Of A Bad Situation" (1974) and other novelty songs. Feller, who served as a staff songwriter for Johnny Cash's publishing company, House of Cash, penned such smashes as Jerry Reed's "Lord Mr. Ford" (1973), which topped the Country charts. He later teamed with Reed to write songs for "Smokey And The Bandit" (1977), with Reed's performance of "East Bound And Down" reaching #2 on the Country charts.
