Janis Martin (March 27, 1940 - September 3, 2007) was a trailblazing rockabilly and country music singer who became famous during the mid 1950s, a time when very few women worked in the male-dominated rock & roll music scene. She is best known for the swaggering Top 40 smash, "Will You, Willyum" (1956). Martin was dubbed "the female Elvis" for her Presley-like dance moves on stage.
