Jackie "Moms" Mabley (March 19, 1897 - May 23, 1975, b. Loretta Mary Aiken) was a pioneering and veteran stand-up comedian and actress with deep, raspy vocals who became famous as a performing artist during the late 1960s. She is best known for her soulful Top 40 hit rendition of "Abraham, Martin And John" (1969) as made famous by Dion.
