Starland Vocal Band was a male-female soft rock quartet from Washington, D.C. consisting of Jon Carroll, Margot Chapman, and husband-wife duo Bill and Taffy Danoff. This group topped the Pop/Rock charts in 1976 with "Afternoon Delight" and won the Best New Artist Grammy for that year.
