The T.S.U. Toronadoes were a highly acclaimed instrumental R&B group formed by students from Texas Southern University. In 1969, they had a hit with "Getting The Corners." They also famously backed "Tighten Up" (1968) which topped the charts for Archie Bell & The Drells.
