Wilmer & The Dukes were a veteran R&B group from Geneva, NY led by Wilmer Alexander Jr. that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for the 1968 hit, "Give Me One More Chance." After splitting in 1974, the group reunited in 1988 and continued through 2012 as The Legendary Dukes, with a number of personnel changes.
