ABOUT
Yvonne Fair (October 21, 1942 - March 6, 1994) was an R&B/soul/funk singer with powerful, emotive vocals who began as a member of The Chantels and then The James Brown Revue in 1961 before becoming famous as a solo recording artist in the mid 1970s. She is best known for the gut-wrenching "It Should Have Been Me" (1975), which kicks off with the "Wedding March (Here Comes The Bride)" theme played on bells.
