Eagles - Songs

ABOUT

The Eagles are a highly acclaimed and veteran rock band with a unique blend of country, soft rock, and folk rock that became famous beginning in the 1970s. Their best known songs include the catchy and laid-back "Take It Easy" (1972), the smooth and romantic "Best Of My Love" (1974), the disco-infused "One Of These Nights" (1975), the dark and reflective "New Kid In Town" (1976), the haunting and enigmatic "Hotel California" (1976), and the bluesy and upbeat "Heartache Tonight" (1979).

Formed in 1971 in Los Angeles, the original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey (vocals, guitar), Don Henley (vocals, drums), Bernie Leadon (guitar), and Randy Meisner (bass), with a number of personnel changes that include the addition of Don Felder (guitar) in 1974 and the replacement of Leadon and Meisner by Joe Walsh (in 1975) and Timothy B. Schmit (in 1977), respectively. As one of the world's all-time top-selling bands, the Eagles numerous honors and accolades include multiple Grammys and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
