ABOUT

Gallery was a pop/soft rock band with an easy going style that became famous during the early 1970s. Best known for the feel-good Top 5 smash, "Nice To Be With You" (1972), which became a million-seller and also made the Top 5 in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, other hits include "Big City Miss Ruth Ann" (1972) and the Mac Davis-penned "I Believe In Music" (1972).

Formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1971 by lead singer Jim Gold, who wrote "Nice To Be With You," the lineup also consisted of Brent Anderson (lead guitar), Danny Brucato (drums), Cal Freeman (steel guitar), Dennis Kovarik (bass), and Bill Nova (percussion). By early 1974, Gallery had disbanded, and Gold went on to launch a solo career.
