ABOUT

Paper Lace was a British pop group best known in the U.S. for the chart-topping "The Night Chicago Died" (1974). Paper Lace also had a couple of minor hits in 1974 with their cover of Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods' "Billy, Don't Be A Hero" (which topped the U.K. charts) and "The Black-Eyed Boys." The original group members included lead singer and drummer, Phil Wright, and there have been a number of personnel changes along the way.
