ABOUT
The Partridge Family was a made-for-TV family pop/rock group led by teen idol David Cassidy (April 12, 1950 - November 21, 2017). With stepmother Shirley Jones, he co-starred/performed on the same-named TV musical sitcom which ran from 1970-1974. The Cowsills were an inspiration for this show.
Best known for the soaring "I Think I Love You" (1970), which topped the charts in the U.S., Canada, and Australia and became a million-seller, other big hits by The Partridge Family include "Doesn't Somebody Want To Be Wanted" (1971) and "I'll Meet You Halfway" (1971). David Cassidy also went on to have a highly successful solo career.
