Janet Jackson (b. 1966) is a highly acclaimed singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and pop icon who became internationally famous beginning in the early 1980s. Her many signature songs include the Grammy-winning "That's The Way Love Goes" (1993), which topped both the R&B and Pop/Rock charts, the socially conscious "Rhythm Nation" (1989), and such chart-toppers as "Nasty" (1986), "Together Again" (1997), and "All For You" (2001). The tenth and youngest sibling of the famed Jackson family, she began her long career as a child, appearing in many TV shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Her numerous honors include multiple Grammys and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2019). She is among the world's top-selling artists with over 100 million records sold to date.
