Rodney Crowell (b. 1950) is a Grammy-winning and veteran country singer, songwriter, and guitarist who became famous during the 1980s. He had his biggest crossover success with "Ashes By Now" (1980), and his long string of hits on the Country charts also includes such chart toppers as "It's Such A Small World" (1988), "She's Crazy For Leavin'" (1988), and "Above And Beyond" (1989).
