The spammers have ruined email for everybody, both receivers and senders alike. Not only are most people innundated with spam, but sending email has become so problematic that you can no longer be sure whether or not your emails ever made it through because of all the spam filters (which vary widely from one ISP to the next and are ever-changing). These spam filters, unfortunately, often result in perfectly legitimate messages never getting delivered to their intended recipient - in many cases not even making it to the junk mail folder - and without any notification whatsoever from the ISP to either the sender or receiver.

Despite all our best efforts, there have been a number of times where we at allbutforgottenoldies.net have received a question or inquiry and answered it, only to realize later that our reply email never made it back to the sender. So BEFORE you email us, please carry out all the following steps to minimize the chances of your messages and/or our replies getting lost in cyber space:

Doublecheck your email address to make sure there aren't any problems at your end receiving email (such as, for example, a non-working email address or a full mailbox).
If you are using a service such as Yahoo, Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live, Gmail, AT&T, Verizon, Earthlink, or AOL, or have any spam filters in place, please add the allbutforgottenoldies.net domain to your whitelist (a.k.a. "approved senders list," "safe senders list").
Doublecheck your list of blocked senders to make sure our domain does not appear anywhere in that list.
