We were just informed by Angela H., a visitor to our website, that Sam Nelson, the son of the late Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Ricky Nelson, plans to restore the entire 14 year (435 episodes) series of the longest running live-action sitcom in the history of television, "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." Although he has restored the first season, the family hopes to get the entire series restored by the time the show is inducted into the Smithsonian.

The entire project is going to cost $56,000, but Sam wants to get fans of the show involved in the project in a unique way. He has set up a project fund on Kickstarter and so far, has raised $32,121.

If you wish to get involved and become a part of this history-making project, you can either proceed directly to the above-mentioned page on Kickstarter, or you can access that page via the official official Ozzie and Harriet website. (Once you reach the Kickstarter webpage, click on the "Updates" tab to find out how to make a donation.)

Thanks, Angela, for bringing this news to our attention!
