June 18, 2012: Billboard Honors Paul McCartney

In honor of Paul McCartney on his 70th birthday, Billboard Magazine compiled a list of the 40 biggest Billboard hits from McCartney's nearly 50-year career as part of the Beatles and Wings. Also included in the list are duets with Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson..

June 20, 2012: The Jacksons Prepare To Go On Tour

Brothers Marlon, Jermaine, Tito and Jackie Jackson will be returning to the stage. They are scheduled to launch their "Unity" tour on June 20, which is five days ahead of the third anniversary of Michael's death (on June 25, 2009). Jermaine said the brothers have wanted to reunite on their own for years, but after Michael's passing, they needed time to heal, and the tour is another step in that process. Their tour is to begin at Rama Casino in Ontario, Canada, and is scheduled to end July 29 at the Snoqualmie Casino Amphitheater in Snoqualmie, WA.

June 22, 2012: "Hernando's Hideaway" Composer Richard Adler Passes Away

Richard Adler, who, with Jerry Ross, co-wrote the Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals, "The Pajama Game" and "Damn Yankees," died in his home on June 21 in Southampton, NY, at the age of 90. His many famous songs include the steamy "Hernando's Hideaway" (from "The Pajama Game") which became a pop hit in 1954 for Archie Bleyer, Guy Lombardo, and Johnnie Ray.
