During the week of January 20, 2013, some of the presenters for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were announced which include Don Henley of the Eagles (for Randy Newman). Ceremonies will take place on April 18, 2013.
Also, Fleetwood Mac and Rush announced new tour dates, and Stevie Wonder will headline a show in New Orleans on February 2 during the Super Bowl weekend. Barry Manilow announced reschedulings of his "Manilow On Broadway" shows which had to be postposed due to illness. Also, Brian Wilson will be reuniting with two other original Beach Boys band members for a show this July.
For those who subscribe to Showtime, a documentary about the Eagles will be shown in two parts on February 15 and 16, 2013. Also, a new documentary about the historical Muscle Shoals recently premiered at Sundance.

January 22, 2013: Brian Wilson To Reunite With Beach Boys For Show This Summer
Brian Wilson will be reuniting with two other founding Beach Boys members, Al Jardine and David Marks, for a show on July 25, 2013 at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, OH. Tickets go on sale January 26.

January 22, 2013: James Taylor Announces Plans To Take 2013 Off To Make New Album
James Taylor's career spans some 50 years and he actively tours and performs, with one of his most recent gigs being the President's second inauguration. The soon-to-be 65-year-old singer is taking this year off to write some new songs and record his first album of new material since his last album in 2002, "October Road."

January 22, 2013: Rush Add North American Tour Dates
In the fall of 2012, Rush went on tour in support of their latest album, "Clockwork Angels." The band will be adding some new cities this spring that they missed the first time around starting this April in Austin, TX. Afterwards, they will be touring in Europe and then returning to North America to start another leg in June. Ticket for some of these shows go on sale on January 28.

January 22, 2013: Stevie Wonder To Headline Super Bowl Weekend Show
On February 2, 2013, Stevie Wonder is slated to headline a show at the Bud Light Hotel in New Orleans, the city in which this year's Super Bowl will be held. Doors open at 8 PM, and this show will be streamed on Myspace for those not able to attend.

January 23, 2013: Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Performers And Presenters Announced
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will take place on April 18, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and some of the presenters for this year's inductees have been announced. They include Don Henley (for Randy Newman), John Mayer (for Albert King), and Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins (for Rush).

January 24, 2013: Upcoming Sundance Documentary 'Muscle Shoals' Premier
A new documentary, "Muscle Shoals," was premiered at Sundance on January 26, 2013. This film, which was made by Greg "Freddy" Camalier, gives a history of this musically fertile Alabama city where the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and Fame Recording Studio were founded. "Muscle Shoals" features performances by many artists who have recorded there, including Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and Bono.

January 24, 2013: Fleetwood Mac Add More Tour Dates
Fleetwood Mac will be touring for the first time since 2009 starting this spring, and the band has added some new show dates in Chicago, Boston, and Los Angeles, plus some other cities missed the first time around. They will kick off their tour on April 4, 2013 in Columbus, OH, with the new show dates starting June 14 at Chicago's Allstate Arena. Tickets go on sale starting February 1.

January 24, 2013: Barry Manilow Reschedules Broadway Shows
Barry Manilow was originally scheduled to open his "Manilow On Broadway" shows the week of January 20, 2013 but had to cancel due to bronchitis. The 69-year-old singer has rescheduled the opening show, plus some others originally scheduled for that same week, for late February and early March.

January 25, 2013: Duane Allman Box Set To Be Released
On March 5, 2013, Rounder Records will release a 7-disc box set of 129 songs, "Skydog: The Duane Allman Retrospective," in tribute to the late Duane Allman who died at age 24 in a motorcycle crash in 1971. The box set will include songs from Allman's early days, studio sessions with Aretha Franklin and other big names, and songs performed with the Allman Brothers Band and Derek and the Dominoes.

January 26, 2013: Aerosmith And Carrie Underwood's Duet 'Can't Stop Lovin' You' Single Is Released
Aerosmith and famed country singer Carrie Underwood have recorded a new single, "Can't Stop Lovin' You." This song, which was written by Aerosmith members, is also included on their latest album, "Music From Another Dimension."
