During the week of October 25, 2015, the Browns, the Oak Ridge Boys, and famed session guitarist Grady Martin became this year's inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Among the many performers who were on hand to welcome the new inductees were Kenny Rogers, Brenda Lee, Bobby Bare, Duane Eddy, Roy Clark, Emmylou Harris, and Ray Walker of The Jordanaires.

Elton John and Jeff Lynne of ELO will be performing this November at the 2015 Royal Variety Performance, an annual charity concert held in London, with Prince Harry to be among those attending. Also that month, John Fogerty will give a show in New York City at the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation's 18th annual benefit dinner and auction, and Joan Baez is among those who will be commemorating in a tribute concert the 100th anniversary of the death of folk singer and labor rights activist, Joe Hill. In January, 2016, Styx will begin a new tour leg in the U.S. with Def Leppard and Tesla. Also, Black Sabbath will be extending its final tour (dubbed "The End"), which is currently in progress, with a new North American leg slated to begin in August, 2016.

Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, The Kinks, David Bowie, Otis Redding, and The Zombies are among the latest additions to a growing list of oldies bands and artists with limited-edition vinyl recordings to be offered at this year's Black Friday Record Store Day which takes place in late November. Also that month, Carly Simon will be releasing "Songs From The Trees (A Musical Memoir Collection)," a companion album to her upcoming memoir, "Boys In The Trees." This December, Fleetwood Mac will be releasing an expanded and remastered version of its 1979 album, "Tusk." Also that month, a new Roy Orbison box set and album titled "The MGM Years" and "One Of The Lonely Ones," respectively, will be coming out on CD and vinyl, and as digital downloads. In January, 2016, David Bowie will be releasing a new album titled "Blackstar."

Also that week, HBO confirmed that the new Mick Jagger-produced "Vinyl" TV series will make its premiere on February 14, 2016. Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, and Jagger's son, James Jagger, are among the co-stars of this drama set in New York City during the 1970s.

On November 12, 2015, John Fogerty will give a show in New York City at the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation's 18th annual benefit dinner and auction. This event will take place at the Cipriani Wall Street restaurant, and fashion designer John Varvatos will be the guest of honor.

October 26, 2015: David Bowie To Release New Album

David Bowie will be releasing a new album titled "Blackstar" on January 8, 2015, the singer's 69th birthday. Highlights include the title track which is the theme song for the new British TV crime drama series, "The Last Panthers," which premieres this November.

October 26, 2015: Elton John, Jeff Lynne's ELO To Perform At Royal Variety Performance

Elton John and Jeff Lynne of ELO are among those who will be performing at this year's Royal Variety Performance, an annual charity concert held in London that raises money for the Royal Variety Charity. This event is set to take place on November 13, 2015 at the Royal Albert Hall, and Queen Elizabeth II's grandson, Prince Harry, will be among those attending.

October 26, 2015: Joan Baez To Pay Tribute In Concert To Folk Singer/Labor Activist Joe Hill

Joan Baez is among those who will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Joe Hill, an influential folk singer and labor rights activist. This event is set to take place on November 17, 2015 in Los Angeles at The Troubadour. Hill, who was executed by a firing squad on November 19, 1915, is known for such songs as "The Preacher And The Slave," The Tramp," "There Is Power In A Union," "The Rebel Girl," and "Casey Jones - The Union Scab."

October 26, 2015: The Browns, Oak Ridge Boys Inducted Into Country Music Hall Of Fame

Jim Ed Brown and the Browns, the Oak Ridge Boys, and famed session guitarist Grady Martin became this year's inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The awards ceremonies took place on October 25, 2015 at the CMA Theater in Nashville, TN. Among the many performers who were on hand to welcome the new inductees were Kenny Rogers, Brenda Lee, Bobby Bare, Duane Eddy, Roy Clark, Emmylou Harris, and Ray Walker of The Jordanaires.

The Browns became famous in the late 1950s for "The Three Bells" and other hits. Jim Ed Brown, who passed away last June, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame at his bedside a few days before his death from cancer. The Oak Ridge Boys, whose origins date back to the 1940s, became famous in the 1970s for such hits as "I’ll Be True To You" and "Elvira." Grady Martin signature guitar accompaniments can be heard on such oldies and country classics as Red Foley's "Chattanoogie Shoe Shine Boy" and Marty Robbins' "El Paso." Martin passed away in 2001.

October 27, 2015: Black Sabbath To Add New North America Leg To Final Tour

Black Sabbath is currently on what is to be the band's last tour, dubbed "The End." The legendary heavy metal band just announced that it will be adding a new North American leg in 2016. This 18-date trek is set to begin on August 17, 2016 in Wantagh, NY and end on September 21 in Phoenix, AZ, with stops in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington, D.C., plus Ontario, Canada. The lineup for "The End" tour consists of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and drummer Tommy Clufetos.

October 27, 2015: Roy Orbison Box Set And Album To Be Released

A new Roy Orbison box set titled "The MGM Years" will be coming out on December 4, 2015 which marks the 50th anniversary of the day the late and great singer signed on with this label. This collection includes 11 studio albums from 1965-1973, the soundtrack from the 1967 movie, "The Fastest Guitar Alive," and various singles and B-sides. An album of previously unreleased Roy Orbison songs recorded in 1969 titled "One Of The Lonely Ones" will also be coming out the same day. Highlights of this 12-track collection include "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, "Carousel." October 29, 2015: Carly Simon To Release Companion Album To Forthcoming Memoir

On November 20, 2015, Carly Simon will be releasing a companion album to her upcoming memoir, "Boys In The Trees," to be published on November 24. Titled "Songs From The Trees (A Musical Memoir Collection)," highlights of this 2-CD collection include The Simon Sisters 1964 hit, "Winken', Blinkin' And Nod," as well as "Anticipation," "You're So Vain," "That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be," and other solo classics.

October 29, 2015: Styx To Tour Again With Def Leppard And Tesla In 2016

Styx will soon be launching another tour leg with Def Leppard and Tesla who toured North America together earlier this year. October 30, 2015: Mick Jagger's 'Vinyl' HBO Premiere Date Confirmed

HBO has confirmed that "Vinyl," a new TV series produced by Mick Jagger, will makes its premiere on February 14, 2016. Set in the 1970s in New York City, "Vinyl" focuses on the life of the fictional record label, American Century Records, and its head, Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale. Among this show's other co-stars are Olivia Wilde and Jagger's son, James Jagger.

October 30, 2015: Fleetwood Mac To Release Expanded Version Of 'Tusk'

On December 4, 2015, Fleetwood Mac will be releasing an expanded and remastered version of its 1979 album, "Tusk." This collection will include the original remastered album in its entirely plus alternate song versions, demos, outtakes, unreleased live performances from the 1979-1980 Tusk Tour, and (for the Tusk Deluxe Edition) a DVD.
