During the week of August 27, 2017, a new Bob Dylan documentary titled "Trouble No More" was announced which will premiere in October at the 55th Annual New York Film Festival.

Also that week, a contest was launched offering the winner the chance to travel to France to see The Rolling Stones in concert.

A new Isaac Hayes box set will be coming out in September titled "The Spirit Of Memphis (1962-1976)." This career-spanning collection includes "Theme From 'Shaft'" and other classics by the late R&B/soul legend plus hit songs he wrote and/or produced for other artists.

Also that week, PBS announced an upcoming episode of its "Great Performance" series featuring highlights from the Grammy Salute to Music Legends show which took place July 11 at NYC's Beacon Theatre. This TV special, which will air on October 13, 2017, features performances by Charley Pride, Randy Newman, Russell Thompkins Jr., and Dionne Warwick. Also, surviving Doors members Robby Krieger and John Densmore will appear with host Dan Rather on an upcoming episode (to be announced soon) of AXS TV's "The Big Interview."

Finally, The Rolling Stones' "Exhibitionism" exhibit will begin a new run at The Palazzo in Las Vegas starting in late September.

August 29, 2017: New Bob Dylan Documentary To Premiere

A new Bob Dylan documentary titled "Trouble No More" will make its world premiere on October 2, 2017 at the 55th Annual New York Film Festival. This film, which covers Dylan's "born again" period during the late 1970s-early 1980s, features recently-rediscovered rare footage from concerts in Buffalo, NY, and Toronto during the final leg of his Gospel tour.

August 29, 2017: New Isaac Hayes Box Set To Be Released

A new Isaac Hayes box set will be coming out on September 22, 2017. Titled "The Spirit Of Memphis (1962-1976)," this career-spanning 4-CD collection includes such classics as "Theme From 'Shaft'" plus hit songs Hayes wrote and/or produced for other artists. Also included in this package is a 7-inch vinyl single of the first recordings released by the late R&B/soul legend: "Laura, We're On Our Last Go-Round" and "C.C. Rider."

August 29, 2017: Contest Offers Rolling Stones Fan The Chance To See Band In Concert

A new contest was recently launched in partnership with Icelandic Glacial water offering the winner the chance to travel to France to see The Rolling Stones in concert on October 22, 2017 during the band's No Filter Tour. August 30, 2017: Rolling Stones' 'Exhibitionism' Exhibit Heading To Las Vegas

The Rolling Stones' roving "Exhibitionism" exhibit, which recently wrapped up its run at Chicago's Navy Pier, will open at The Palazzo in Las Vegas on September 23, 2017 and is scheduled through January 31, 2018. August 31, 2017: Surviving Doors Members To Appear On AXS TV's 'The Big Interview'

Surviving Doors members Robby Krieger and John Densmore will appear on an upcoming episode of AXS TV's "The Big Interview." According to Krieger's official Facebook page, the interview took place with host Dan Rather at The Whisky a Go Go, the legendary Los Angeles nightclub where The Doors served as the house band. The premiere date of this episode of "The Big Interview" will be announced soon.

September 1, 2017: 2017 'Grammy Salute' Special Featuring Sly Stone & Dionne Warwick To Air On PBS

On October 13, 2017, PBS will broadcast highlights from the Grammy Salute to Music Legends show which took place July 11 at NYC's Beacon Theatre as an episode of this station's "Great Performance" series. This show featured tributes in concert to Sly Stone, The Velvet Underground, Charley Pride, Jimmie Rodgers, and several other honorees, and also included performances by Dionne Warwick, Russell Thompkins Jr., and Randy Newman.
