During the week of February 26, 2017, a tribute concert in honor of country legend Merle Haggard was announced to take place in Nashville this April, with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, and Bobby Bare to be among the many featured performers. This event will be filmed and recorded for distribution as both a special and an album.

Todd Rundgren announced a U.S. tour which begins in April. Daryl Hall and John Oates will launch a North American tour this May and will be joined by Tears For Fears. Also that month, the inaugural aTrolla Music Festival will take place in Dallas, TX, with Peter Cetera, KC & The Sunshine Band, and The Spinners among the many featured performers. James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt, who recently announced a joint tour, added a new series of show dates that begin in July. The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac made a preliminary announcement regarding an upcoming joint music festival on both the East and West coasts to take place sometime in July. Also, Cher announced an extension of her Las Vegas residency over the rest of most of this year, with new shows scheduled for August and November.

Michael Nesmith announced a new album titled "Infinite Tuesday: An Autobiographical Riff," a companion to his upcoming memoir of the same title, which is due out in April.

Also that week, it was announced that AXS TV will air a special on March 19, 2017 covering the 2016 Farm Aid benefit concert with performances by Neil Young and Willie Nelson.

February 28, 2017: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson & More To Take Part In Merle Haggard Tribute Show

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, and Bobby Bare are among the many artists to pay tribute in concert to Merle Haggard. Dubbed "Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard," this event will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on April 6, 2017. This date marks both the one-year anniversary of Haggard's passing and what would have been the late country legend's 80th birthday. The concert will be filmed and recorded for distribution as both a special and an album.

Cher announced an extension of her Las Vegas residency over the rest of most of this year, with new shows scheduled for August and November. Dubbed "Classic Cher," her shows feature songs from every phase of her half-century career.

March 1, 2017: James Taylor And Bonnie Raitt Announce More Show Dates

James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt, who recently announced a joint summer tour, have added a series of show dates to their itinerary. March 1, 2017: Michael Nesmith To Release New Album

Michael Nesmith announced a new album titled "Infinite Tuesday: An Autobiographical Riff," a companion to his upcoming memoir of the same title. Highlights of this 14-track collection, which is due out on April 14, 2017, include a pre-Monkees song titled "The New Recruit," Nesmith's own rendition of his song, "Different Drum," as made famous by The Stone Poneys in 1967, and several Monkees classics.

March 1, 2017: Todd Rundgren Announces Tour

Todd Rundgren announced a U.S. trek dubbed "White Knight: The Chivalrock Tour." This 11-date trek begins on April 29, 2017 in St. Louis, MO and ends on June 10 in Syracuse, NY, with additional stops in New York, as well as in Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Rhode Island. March 2, 2017: Eagles And Fleetwood Mac Announce Joint Music Festival

The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac made a preliminary announcement regarding an upcoming joint music festival for this July on both the East and West coasts. Dubbed as Classic East and Classic West, these events will take place, respectively, at Citi Field in New York City and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Each music festival will feature both The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, as well as additional performers. The exact dates are expected to be announced sometime soon.

March 2, 2017: Hall & Oates To Launch North American Tour

Daryl Hall and John Oates will launch a North American tour this spring and will be joined by Tears For Fears. This 29-date trek begins on May 4, 2017 in Tulsa, OK and ends on July 28 in Los Angeles, with shows in Ontario and Quebec, Canada, and many states across the U.S.
