During the week of September 17, 2017, AXS TV announced the 2017 fall lineup for "The Big Interview." The Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., and Steven Van Zandt will be among the featured guests.
Bruce Springsteen recently released a new archival live album titled "The Summit Houston, TX" that captures a concert from 1978, with all proceeds to go towards the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. A re-release of John Fogerty's album, "Blue Moon Swamp," will be coming out in November and will be the first in a series of solo album re-releases. Also due out that month are a new Bob Dylan box set titled "Trouble No More -- The Bootleg Series Vol. 13," a 40th anniversary edition deluxe box set of the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack, and two archival albums recorded with London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra: "A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" and "A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra."
Also that week, it was announced that a new documentary titled "Now More Than Ever: The History Of Chicago" will be coming out in October on DVD.
Finally, Patti Smith will be presented with the 2017 John Lennon Real Love Award this December.

September 19, 2017: Patti Smith To Receive 2017 John Lennon Real Love Award
Patti Smith will be this year's recipient of the John Lennon Real Love Award at the Theatre Within's 37th Annual John Lennon Tribute. The ceremonies will take place December 1, 2017 in New York City at Symphony Space and will features performances by Smith of her favorite Lennon and Beatles songs. September 19, 2017: John Fogerty To Release New Solo Album And Reissues
Former CCR frontman John Fogerty recently signed a new record contract with BMG that will include a new solo album due out sometime next year and the reissue of his previous solo albums. The first in this series will be a 20th anniversary edition of his Grammy award-winning album, "Blue Moon Swamp," which is due out on November 17, 2017. Upcoming solo album reissues will include "Centerfield," "The Eye Of The Zombie," "Premonition," and "Deja Vu (All Over Again)," plus a new "Best Of" collection.

September 19, 2017: New Chicago Documentary To Be Released On DVD
A new documentary titled "Now More Than Ever: The History Of Chicago" will be coming out October 13, 2017 on DVD. This film covers the band's 50-year history and features behind-the-scenes footage and interviews of Chicago band members, both past and present.

September 20, 2017: New Aretha Franklin Album To Be Released
A new archival album by the Queen of Soul titled "A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" will be coming out on November 10, 2017. This 14-track collection features recordings by Franklin from the 1960s with new orchestral backing by London's famed Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Highlights include such classics as "Respect," "Think," "I Say A Little Prayer," and "A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel Like)."

September 20, 2017: New Bob Dylan Box Set To Be Released
A new Bob Dylan box set titled "Trouble No More -- The Bootleg Series Vol. 13" will be coming out on November 3, 2017. This collection, which bundles together recordings from 1979-1981, includes three religious-themed albums - "Slow Train Coming" (1979), "Saved" (1980), and "Shot Of Love" (1981) - plus many previously unreleased tracks and a bonus DVD, "Trouble No More: A Musical Film," which includes footage from Dylan's 1980 tours.

September 21, 2017: Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack Deluxe Box Set To Be Released
A 40th anniversary edition deluxe box set of the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack will be coming out on November 17, 2017. This collection includes the remastered original album plus four remixes and other bonuses. This award-winning, chart-topping soundtrack, which includes such hits as "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep Is Your Love," and "Night Fever," was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2004 and was added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry in 2013.

September 21, 2017: New Archival Roy Orbison Album To Be Released
A new archival album titled "A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" will be coming out on November 3, 2017. Highlights of this collection, which pairs selected Orbison tracks recorded 54 years ago with newly-recorded orchestral backing, include the Christmas classic, "Pretty Paper."
