During the week of March 4, 2018, the complete list of limited-edition recordings was announced for this year's Record Store Day which is set to take place on April 21 at various record stores across the country. Among the many oldies bands and artists with offerings are The Allman Brothers Band, Chuck Berry, David Bowie, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Eric Clapton, Bo Diddley, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty, Marvin Gaye, The Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Elton John, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Kenny Loggins, The Moody Blues, Van Morrison, Harry Nilsson, Pink Floyd, Elvis Presley, The Rascals, Lou Reed, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Yes, and Neil Young.

Neil Young and Jethro Tull are among the many featured performers at the 2018 Quebec City Summer Festival which takes place July 5-15, 2018. Eric Clapton announced two concerts for October 6 and 7 at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Also, Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues will host the inaugural On The Blue Cruise which sets sail from Miami, FL on February 10, 2019. This new seagoing music fest will also feature Dave Mason, Poco, Procol Harum, Al Stewart, Vanilla Fudge, The Zombies, and more.

A new Jimi Hendrix album titled "Both Sides Of The Sky" just came out that features previously unreleased studio recordings from 1968-1970 by the late guitar legend. A new compilation titled "Steppenwolf At 50" that includes old favorites plus live performances and previously unreleased songs will be released on March 16 in celebration of the band's 50th anniversary. Also, Van Morrison announced a new album titled "You're Driving Me Crazy" featuring covers of various jazz and blues standards which is due out on April 27. In addition, a limited-edition vinyl single with two of the album's tracks, "Close Enough For Jazz" and "The Things I Used To Do," will be coming out on April 21 as part of this year's Record Store Day campaign.

Also that week, it was announced that "Paradox," a new movie starring Neil Young and featuring Willie Nelson, will make its TV premiere March 23, 2018 on Netflix, with a companion soundtrack album to be released the same day. Also, Motown legend Smokey Robinson will join country singer-songwriter Cam for an upcoming episode of "CMT Crossroads" that will premiere March 28.

Finally, the new season of the Dan Rather-hosted AXS TV series, "The Big Interview," kicks off on March 13, 2018 with an interview of Robert Plant in which the former Led Zeppelin frontman will discuss his continuing passion for making music and other topics (see preview below).
