During the week of October 21, 2018, fans bade a final farewell to famed singer and songwriter Tony Joe White (July 23, 1943 - October 24, 2018) who had a Top 10 hit in 1969 with "Polk Salad Annie" and wrote Brook Benton's 1970 R&B classic, "Rainy Night In Georgia."

The Temptations' 1969 album, "Cloud Nine," which was the first to feature the group's then-new lead singer, Dennis Edwards, was recently reissued as a limited-edition LP on colored vinyl. Joni Mitchell's 2014 career-spanning box set, "Love Has Many Faces: A Quartet, A Ballet, Waiting To Be Danced," which was originally released on CD, will be coming out on November 2, 2018 as a limited-edition vinyl box set. Also, a deluxe CD/Blu-ray collection titled "Elvis Presley -- '68 Comeback Special (50th Anniversary Edition)," which includes the original soundtrack album for The King's TV special plus outtakes and other previous unreleased material, will be released on November 30.

Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and co-founder of KISS, will perform his entire 1978 self-titled debut solo album on the final day of the New Jersey KISS Expo 2018 set to take place December 7-9 in Parsippany, NJ. Chicago announced a Las Vegas residency at the Venetian resort's Venetian Theatre, with eight performances scheduled for February 8-23, 2019. Also, Jeff Lynne's ELO will launch a 20-date North American summer tour beginning June 20, 2019 in Anaheim, CA and ending August 1 in Pittsburgh, PA, covering many states across the country as well as several Canadian provinces.

Finally, Neil Young was among those honored with Canada's Polaris Heritage Prize for his 1969 album, "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." He was also honored with this prestigious award in 2016 for his 1970 album, "After the Gold Rush."
