During the week of April 4, 2021, it was announced that this year's Record Store Day will take place on June 12 and July 17 at record stores across the country. Among the many offerings are recordings by such oldies favorites as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Jefferson Airplane, Elton John, Janis Joplin, The Kinks, Joni Mitchell, The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Cat Stevens, War, The Who, and The Zombies. "A Beautiful Noise," a musical that tells the life story of Neil Diamond, will make its world premiere in Boston on June 21, 2022, and will run through July 17, 2022. Named after Diamond's 1976 album, this musical features many classic hits by the pop legend.

The Warburton, an annual fundraiser concert and auction normally held in conjunction with the Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, will take place this year as a virtual event beginning on April 20. Among the many featured performers are Alice Cooper, Kenny Loggins, Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals, and Steve Cropper of Booker T. & The MG's and The Blues Brothers. Finally, Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones was honored with the prestigious Freedom of the City of London, an award given to those who have provided exceptional service to the U.K.'s capital city.
