During the week of July 25, 2021, PBS announced the lineup for Season 10 of its upcoming concert series, "Front And Center," which kicks off on August 1 with "Glen Campbell - Live From The Troubadour." This episode, which covers the late country legend's final recorded performance in 2008 at the famous Los Angeles venue, will be rebroadcast later this summer on most PBS stations and can also be viewed on the series' YouTube page.

Also that week, an all-star concert to take place August 21 in New York City's Central Park was announced that will air live on CNN. Dubbed "We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert," featured performers will include Earth, Wind & Fire, Barry Manilow, Carlos Santana, Paul Simon, Patti Smith, and Bruce Springsteen.

A rare recording from 1968 made by Jimi Hendrix of Joni Mitchell performing one of her early songs, "The Dawntreader," at a coffee house in Ottawa, Canada recently resurfaced and is included on her upcoming album, "Archives Vol. 2: The Reprise Years (1968-1971)." After Mitchell's show, which Hendrix taped with her permission, he later described her in his diary as a fantastic girl with heaven words.

"Memphis '69," a long-shelved concert documentary that made its premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, is set to be released August 6, 2021 on Fat Possum's YouTube channel and will be available September 17 on DVD. This film, which captures a blues music festival that took place in June of 1969 in Memphis, TN, features rare performances by such artists as Rufus ("Walking The Dog") Thomas and Johnny Winter.

Finally, Willie Nelson announced that he is filming a new docuseries to be titled "Willie Nelson & Family" that will cover the 88-year-old country legend's life and career.
