During the week of March 28, 2021, Paul Simon became the latest addition to a growing list of veteran artists to sell the rights to their music catalogs. The deal made between the celebrated singer-songwriter and Sony Music Publishing includes the songs he wrote with Simon & Garfunkel as well as his solo works.

Also that week, Styx announced plans to return to Las Vegas on September 25 and 26, 2021 at The Venetian Theatre inside the Venetian resort. The band also has a string of upcoming concerts in the U.S. listed on its website's tour page running from July 3, 2021 through January 6, 2022.

James Taylor and Jackson Browne announced another rescheduling of their joint U.S. tour originally set to take place in May of 2020. The first leg will now kick off on July 29, 2021 in Chicago and run through August 28 in Holmdel, NJ. Also that week, it was announced that a new documentary about The Who's 1967 album, "The Who Sell Out," will be streamed for free beginning April 22, 2021 on nugs.net and YouTube. This film covers the making of this concept album that consists of a series of unrelated songs interspersed with fake commercials and public service announcements.
