November 13, 2022 by Amy Gold

During the week of November 6, 2022, The Beatles' "Revolver" topped Billboard's Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Catalog Albums charts in the wake of its recent deluxe expanded reissue. In addition, this classic album, which topped the Billboard 200 for six weeks in 1966 upon its original release, re-entered this chart at no. 4.

Also that week, NBS announced that Bruce Springsteen will make four appearances on "The Tonight Show" from November 14-16 and on November 24, 2022 during the show's Thanksgiving episode. Along with The E Street Band, he will perform various selections from his new album, "Only The Strong Survive."

In commemoration of what would have been Jimi Hendrix's 80th birthday, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top will appear November 17, 2022 on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" where he will perform with the actual Gibson Flying V guitar that the late guitar legend used during his 1970 tour. Other upcoming events in Hendrix's honor include a tribute concert taking place December 4 at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX.

Finally, "Concert For George," a film that captures a 2002 concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in tribute to the late George Harrison, will be shown on November 29, 2022 in select theaters worldwide for one night only. Featured artists include Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar, Ringo Starr, Harrison's son Dhani, and members of Monty Python.
