During the week of October 30, 2022, it was announced that Don McLean and Ray Stevens are among those to be inducted into the 2022 Musicians Hall of Fame along with country star Vince Gill. The awards ceremonies will take place November 22 in Nashville, TN and will feature performances by Steve Miller and Rodney Crowell.

Also that week, the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place November 5 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Highlights included new inductee Dolly Parton performing her signature song, "Jolene," along with a new tune she wrote for this occasion. This event will air November 19 on HBO and stream on HBO Max.

The new documentary, "Neil Young: Harvest Time," will make its theatrical debut on December 1 in select theaters worldwide, with an encore presentation on December 4. This movie includes footage from 1971 that captures the legendary singer-songwriter creating and performing such classics as "Old Man" and "Heart Of Gold." Finally, a pair of John Lennon's iconic wire-rimmed granny glasses and a Cadillac convertible once owned by Neil Young will be sold to the highest bidders at Julien's Auctions' Icons & Idols: Rock 'n' Roll taking place November 11-13 at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City.
