During the week of July 2, 2023, Elton John gave the final show of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour on July 8 at his last stop in Stockholm, Sweden, marking the end of an era. This extensive trek began in Allentown, PA on September 8, 2018 and ran for about three years on and off since then. It was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic and was eventually resumed in January 2022.

The highest grossing tour of all time, Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road trek set another record as being the first ever to exceed $900 million in earnings. This hugely popular tour covered a total of 333 concerts given by The Rocketman worldwide, with over 6 million fans in attendance.

Also that week, Paramount announced the release of the trailer for the upcoming "Bob Marley: One Love," to premiere in theaters January 12, 2024. Starring Kingsley Ben-Adir in the title role, this movie covers the life and career of the late reggae legend and features clips of Marley performing and at home with his family in Jamaica, and even includes rare footage of the assassination attempt on his life.
