During the week of June 18, 2023, it was announced that Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees and Dionne Warwick are among this year's Kennedy Center Honors recipients. The awards gala, hosted by Gloria Estefan, will take place December 3 in Washington, DC and will air later on CBS.

Paul Simon sold the royalty rights to his Simon & Garfunkel music to BMG that includes such classic albums as "Sounds Of Silence," "Parsley Sage, Rosemary & Thyme," and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters. BMG also recently acquired the rights to The Hollies recording catalog that includes over 20 albums spanning 1967 to the present.

Also that week, it was announced that "The 50th Anniversary Of Lynyrd Skynyrd: An Exclusive Concert Film Experience" will be coming to theaters beginning July 8 with a weeklong run at various venues across the country.
