During the week of March 19, 2023, Jose Feliciano, Gladys Knight, and Bruce Springsteen were among those to be honored with the prestigious National Medal of Arts. President Joe Biden presented the awards at a ceremony that took place March 21 at the White House.

Also that week, it was announced that "A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical" will launch a North American tour in the fall of 2024 for those who cannot make it to New York City to attend this hugely popular Broadway production. This trek is set to begin in Providence, RI, with more cities to be added soon.

Gene Simmons of KISS recently announced a chance for fans in the U.K. to record a song with him at Abbey Road Studios and is now offering U.S. fans the opportunity to join him on December 4-6 at Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Also, Pete Best, the original Beatles drummer before Ringo Starr joined the band, is offering fans the chance to perform with him July 13-16 in New York City at the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp where he will be joined that weekend by bassists Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith and Darryl Jones of The Rolling Stones.

Also that week, AXS TV announced "Vinyl Obsession," a new series in which various pop/rock icons share their love of this format as well as their top five favorite LPs. This eight-part special, which kicks off on April 2, features appearances by such veteran artists as John Oates, Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top, and Tommy Shaw of Styx.
