During the week of March 5, 2023, Darlene Love, Steve Earle, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, and E Street Band guitarist Steve Van Zandt were named as the honorees for the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music's inaugural American Music Honors. This event will take place April 15 at the Pollak Theatre at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, where the Bruce Springsteen Archives are housed.

Also that week, Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" made the Billions Club on Spotify with over 1 billion streams to date on this streaming service. Released in 1971, this John Fogerty-penned classic was among the band's many top hits.

The 2023 David Bowie World Fan Convention will be taking place June 16-18, 2023 in New York City at Racket, a Manhattan-area venue. A new YouTube channel recently launched dedicated to "The Midnight Special," a hugely popular late night TV show that aired from 1972-1981. Among the many attractions are clips from such top acts as Aerosmith, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, KISS, Led Zeppelin, and Tina Turner.

Also that week, it was announced that Cher will be among those to appear on "Carol Burnett: 90 Years Of Laughter + Love," a TV special honoring the legendary comedienne and actress to air April 26, 2023 on NBC. Other guests at this taped event, which took place March 3 at the Avalon Hollywood & Bardot in Los Angeles, include longtime Carol Burnett comedic partner, Vicki Lawrence, who topped the charts in 1973 with "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia."

Finally, Fender is paying tribute to the late George Harrison with a new collection of guitar picks and other accessories sporting the logo of his record label, Dark Horse Records. This collection is available on Fender.com.
