During the week of May 28, 2023, Tina Turner's songs amassed a whopping 40.1 million on-demand streams in the wake of her recent passing. The Grammy-winning "What's Love Got To Do With It" was her top pick with 7.2 million clicks. "The Best" came in second place with 4.5 million clicks, followed by the Ike & Tina Turner 1971 classic, "Proud Mary," with 3.9 million streams. Billy Joel announced that he will end his record-breaking residency at New York City's Madison Square Garden in July 2024 when he will give his 150th and final concert at this venue. His upcoming September 2023 concert will be his 140th lifetime performance, and the first of the final 10 shows will take place October 20, 2023.

Also that week, an apology note from The Beatles written in 1963 to a schoolgirl named Diana sold at auction in London for over $14,000. Diana's aunt worked for Paul McCartney's cousin Bette Robbins at that time, and the band had planned to visit Robbins after giving a show in Portsmouth. Diana was supposed to get to meet them, but the band was forced to cancel to return to London for some TV and radio appearances.
